How long to charge the battery Follow

The more power that is drained from the battery, the longer it takes to recharge. If the battery is completely discharged it can take 5 - 8 hours to fully charge. 

The Dual Battery System on DŌST Bikes uses two slightly different size batteries. The primary battery in the downtube has about 25% more capacity than the secondary battery (optional) and thus will require more time to fully charge. Please note that the primary and secondary batteries can only be charged separately or with a second charger.

Please refer to the Battery Care section in our Help Center for tips on charging and caring for li-ion batteries. Failure to follow best practices can result in damage and/or under-performing batteries. 

If you have any concerns or issues with your battery we recommend you contact Product Support either by email support@dostbikes.com or by phone (833) 247-3678 (ext. 2). Discontinue riding the bike and charging the battery until the issues can be resolved.
