How to Install your Secondary Battery Kit Follow

Local Legend Dave is back at it again with another how to video, this time he will be able to run you through how to install the secondary battery kit. 

Installing the battery

To install the secondary battery, take it out of the battery box. Inside the box, you will find your secondary battery kit and also a set of keys for the battery. Dislodge the battery from the case by using the keys.

On the frame of the bike, remove all 4 bolts on the downtube. Next, loosely mount the case onto the frame using the same bolts. Attached to the cradle is a cable that is supposed to mount onto the bike. Integrated into the frame there is a remove the grommet so that you are able to plug the cable into the bike. When plugging the cable in please refer to the video and follow how local legend Dave plugs it in.

Please note that you can only plug the cable in with the tail end of the cable facing away from the chain. Plugging it in the other way will be difficult, and cause permanent damage to the bike.

Once the plug is installed, install the secondary battery onto the case. 

To turn the battery on, push the button on the top right hand side of the battery. When it is turned on, you will see the light indicators light up on the bottom of the battery. Push the button on the bottom of the battery to check its charge level.
