Can I add an additional seat to my bike? Follow

We often get asked if we are able to add an extra seat to the bike. The short answer is yes, but the longer answer is: It depends.

Although our rack is heavy duty and the bike itself can support up to 300 lbs, the bike is not designed to accommodate an extra adult rider. If you are planning on taking a grandchild or a young child, Thule makes an amazing child seat that fits on our bikes without any issues. It is secure, mounts directly onto the rear rack, and is very comfortable for younger rider to-be's!
